Online Registration Reminder, Tryouts and Fees

Online Registration for the Spring 2012 Season is open. Registration currently is set to conclude on Saturday, February 4th. The only reasons to come to a physical registration are to pick up fundraising candy, to use a computer if you have limited-to-no access and to pay by check/cash if you have no debit/credit card. This is the Babe Ruth system, so if you run into issues, please, contact Babe Ruth Headquarters between the hours of 8AM CST – 4PM CST, Monday through Friday at 1-800-880-3142. Unfortunately, since this is their system, should you run into issues, it is highly unlikely we at the BAA can resolve, but they have communicated to us that they are more than willing to help you should you encounter an issue. WE have had well over 100 successful registrations and less than 5 who have encountered an issue.

Note: Picking up candy for fundraiser provided you have already registered online will be rather quick and painless. If you need to register online, there will be only a few computers available, so if at all possible, you are highly encouraged to register online. There is NO cost difference for registering online. 
Cost to register if you choose to participate in fundraiser by selling candy:
T-ball First player is $65, T-ball Second player is $32.50, T-ball Third or additional players is $0

All others are $80 for first player, $40 for second player, $0 for third or additional players.
There is a $40 fee should you choose to opt-out of the fundraiser. If you choose to participate in the fundraiser and not opt-out by paying the $40 convenience fee, then you will be expected to sell 2 boxes of candy and return $100 to the BAA. Candy must be picked up at one of the physical registration dates.
Physical Registration Dates:
Thursday, January 26 from 6pm-8pm
Saturday, January 28 from 10am-12pm
Thursday, February 2 from 6pm-8pm
Saturday, February 4 from 10am-12pm
Tryouts & Blue League Fees
For Players ages 10,11 or 12, choosing to tryout for the Cal Ripken Blue League or ages 13 or 14 choosing to tryout for the Babe Ruth Blue League…
Tryouts are February 11 AND 12 at 1pm and will be held at the Bryant High School Field House.
If the players makes one of these travel/tournament teams, there will be an additional fee to cover uniforms, tournaments and baseballs. The additional fee is $250 with $125 being due by March 15th and the final $125 payment being due by April 15th. This is in ADDITION to the Registration Fees and Fundraiser or Opt-out fee referenced above.
All other players excluding T-ball, tryouts will be on February 18th. Times are still TBD. There are no tryouts for T-ball.

As I have gathered questions over the previous years, I have tried to always place the answer online; however, if you can’t find it, please, don’t hesitate to contact me, and I will do my best to respond in a timely manner with an answer or point you to someone who can.
