Divisions

Youth Baseball is offered through the Bryant Athletic Association’s Bryant Baseball Program for ages 4-19 to players interested in participation. Players must live in the Bryant School District.

Spring season typically runs for 10 weeks. Our season usually begins the first of April and continues through the middle of June. Post-season tournament (All-Star) play is offered in most of our divisions and will run from the middle of June through often the middle of August. All teams participate, also, in a pre-season tournament that will begin in late March after Spring Break. Registration for Spring typically begins in late January.

Fall season typically runs for 8 weeks. Our season usually begins the first of September and continues through the end of October. There is no post-season play for this season. Registration for Fall typically begins in the middle of August.

All of our divisions follow official Cal Ripken or Babe Ruth respectively with minor changes. A rules committee is established each January and presents requested park and/or playing rule changes to the body of association members during a special meeting, which is typically held the first week or two in February. Once a motion and second have been obtained for any rule change, the association members and guests may discuss the changes. Only members in good standing (dues paid for current year) are allowed to vote.

T-ball

A program recommended for 4-5 year olds to teach the fundamentals of hitting and fielding. All batters will hit the ball from a batting tee which is adjusted to a height that allows the batter to swing level. All rostered players present for the game bat in order, whether playing defensively or not. Each player plays defensively. Adult coaches are stationed beyond the infielders in order to provide instruction to all defensive players. The primary goal is to begin to instruct young players in the fundamentals of baseball in a supportive team environment. Players within this division are eligible to be selected by comittee for a post-season 6U t-ball All-star tournament team.

Instructional

Designed primarily for 6 and 7 year olds. Our 6 yr. old players will benefit by controlled pitches from a pitching machine, enabling more action at the plate and in the field. The program receives high praise from coaches, players, parents, and league officials. The instructional league is an excellent way to continue teaching the fundamentals of the game and building player confidence. Regulation games consist of five (5) innings. 6-year old players within this division are eligible to be selected by comittee for a post-season 6 and under t-ball All-star tournament team. 7-year old players within this division are eligible to be selected by comittee for a post-season 7-year old pitching machine All-star tournament team.
