If you have not attended the Blue League ...

We will meet tonight at 7pm.   This will probably be our last meeting for awhile as we will be drafting teams this Sunday and will start practicing next week.  Please make plans to attend

The Blue League oversight committee will notify players by Wednesday, February 22 if they need to come for a call back tryout that is scheduled for Saturday, February 25th.  After those tryouts the committee will finalize the Blue League rosters later that evening.

The blue league oversight committee has decided not to post tryout callbacks or team assignments until after Saturday, February 18th

Tryouts for the Blue League today have been moved to the Bryant High School Field House next to the Bryant High School Football Stadium.

Blue League Tryouts will be on February 11th at Bishop Park. Times

In addition to registration fee, there will be an additional $250 required to play in the Blue League. The first installment of $125 is due by March 15th. The final installment of $125 is due by April 15th. The additional cost will cover uniforms, tournament entry fees and baseballs for those tournaments.

Play will consist of 1 weeknight game at Bishop Park and travel to tournaments on 3 ...

Saturday, February 11th at Bishop Park:

10’s 10-11:30

11’s 11:30 -1:00

12’s 1-2:30

13’s 3-4:30

14’s 4:30-6

Note:

Sunday tryout will start at 1:00. Not everyone will have to return on Sunday. Oversight committee will call players Saturday night that need to return Sunday.

Players show up 30 minutes before tryout to sign in

Wear uniform pants, and shirt with no name on back

Blue League is an extra $250 on top of normal sign ups

BAA General Meeting Minutes 1.10.12; 28 attending

President Michael Catton called meeting to order

Read minutes from 1.3.12. Motion to accept minutes by Rusty Misenheimer, second by Matt Orender. Passed unanimously.

Michael welcomed visitors and new members and gave a reminder of Association Membership fees being due.

Financial Report Update – Craig Harrison, Treasurer.
Concession generated net income of approx $4500! $28k expense for umpires. Craig thanked Mr. Thompson for his level of accountability for first year of profit for concession stand.
